Dating a prude guy pacar dating
I’ve been talking to a lot of younger guys lately about women and dating.
Often I find myself being very jealous of these guys, even when they’re screwing up and making all the usual mistakes.
This guy was trying to be hurtful because he didn’t get what he wanted. There’s so much pressure for women to be sexual, even down to the way we dress. Why do some guys feel like they’re entitled to sex and if we don’t give it, there’s something wrong with us? It can actually be about wanting to exert control over women by reducing us to nothing more than sexual beings. He made me see that often when men treat women like he treated me because of their own crap.
Why should I care so much about what a man I don’t respect thinks of me?
One friend said that a woman waited until the tenth time they hung out to finally go to bed together. Another man said that he started dating someone and was shocked when they ended up having sex on the second date. We're not very specific with what we reveal and are a bit caveman-esque in our description.
It was hurtful in a way, but also kind of hilarious because seriously, who says that? I told him straight up that it was low of him to call me a prude. Some people enjoy casual sex as a means to get to know someone, but for me, I get excited at the thought of learning about someone without sex in the picture.
So I chose instead to write it down and respond to it here, which l begin with a resounding "What the f*ck?!
"He didn't mean hooking up in any other way: not making out, second base, or even oral sex. I've seen this before--a certain approach that guys who fancy themselves "open-minded" and "equal opportunity" have to women.
And by too late, I mean not in the first five minutes.
A guy I know (who, fortunately, I am not dating) recently said this to me: "If a girl doesn't have sex with me on the first date, I assume she's either following some sort of stupid rule or she's repressed, and I don't ask her out again." As tempting as it was at the time to respond to this with a rage blackout for the sake of self-preservation, we were drinking beer and making casual conversation and it was hardly the time for a debate.

Women that wait three months to have sex are not prudes. If you are friendly with a guy and you are at a party and end up in his bed that night that's a hook up, right?
